Cascade type multistage depressurization structure is as shown in figure 1, this structure connects multiple separate throttling band to each other in series instead of original whole throttling band , so that the large pressure difference can be converted into multiple small pressure difference, which makes every decompression range is controlled above the saturated vapor pressure, no cavitations phenomenon exist.
Cascade type regulator is widely used in liquid medium working associations, its characteristic are as blow:
1) It can relieve continuous pressure difference in the process of opening and closing, action of each level throttling mouth lags behind upper level, which can make the continuous high pressure acting valve mouth reduced step by step in opening and closing process and share the pressure in the first class throttling mouth.
2) The flow resistance is small, can be competent for fluid with not high cleanliness, even the solid liquid two phase flow occasion .
3) Cascade type valve core generally is processed with tungsten carbide coating hardening, so anti-scouring cavitation performance is good.
4) Compared with other multistage step-down regulator, manufacturing process technology is relatively simple, easy to machining, low manufacturing costs.
5) Cascade type regulator has generally limited decompression class, mostly is 3 ~ 4, cannot be applied to the occasion with too high pressure difference.
